Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning | Review

Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning // £18.00
(Naughty blogger, didn't take a photo before I used it.  I just couldn't wait!)

Here we have a self tanner and a half.  The Clarins Autobronzant is quite possibly the best facial tanner I have ever used.  Having pale skin can be a mine field when it comes to choosing and applying fake tan, particularly one for the face, which can be extremely unforgiving fake tan wise.

Clarins have created an extremely subtle tan that can be applied daily with no fear of waking up one day with an orange face. I have been using this for nearly a month now and can clarify that the improvement to my face has been enough to make me re-purchase this again even with the hefty price tag.  This product is suitable for all skin types as it is not designed to add deep colour rather to create a 'glow'.  This product gives me exactly that, I apply this before bed 4 times a week and am so pleased with the results.

The tan itself feels velvety and glides onto your skin with ease.  The smell is of course very 'fake tan like' but has in no way put me off the product. It covers pores and lines perfectly and the colour of the product itself is deep and rich. All in all this product is very luxurious and I cannot recommend it enough!

I am so impressed with Clarins in general, I've tried Double Serum recently, a tester of course as the £55 price is just too much for me! I could in no way justify the spend.  Which is a shame as it impressed me even more than this.

  1. I'd love to try some Clarins products but I wouldn't know where to start! I'd have to test them first too, due to the price!

    1. I feel the same way! I wouldn't want to spend loads and then be left with a product I can't use or don't like! I should be brave and ask for testers!
