Magnifibres Brush On Lashes :: Review

Magnifibres // £20*

Hello! I don't know if I'm the only one or not but false lashes and myself do not mix! So when I was kindly sent these Magnifibres I was very excited the try them! Basically what we have here are some brush on false lashes!

Magnifibres are so easy to use, simply apply one coat of mascara (I'm using Rimmel Scandaleyes) and immediately after apply the Magnifibres, finish with a coat of your mascara and you are away! You can apply another layer on top of this if you are not happy with the immediate result.  I decided to test these in the daytime firstly as I go on a night out once a week, if at all these days!

The packaging first off is amazing! I unfortunately had to discard the outer box as my postman seems to have an issue with make up....he rammed the container through the letter box crushing it in the process! How rude! It was pink and girly and reminded me very much so of the quirky Soap & Glory packaging! You can see the packaging in all its glory on the Magnifibres website!

They claim to extend your lashes by up to 5mm and add fullness and volume, sounds amazing! I found them easy to apply, they brush on in exactly the same manner as your usual mascara, same wand, same sized container, all very simple and easy to get used to.  No messy glue and wonky applications here! Plus you get a lot of use out of one stick of Magnifibres as opposed to one pair of disposable lashes at around £4 a pop!

Daytime look

I found on my lashes one application was enough for the daytime as I have quite dark, full lashes anyway so I have no need to build up lots and lots of volume.  Personally I thought this added a tiny bit of extra fullness and I was happy to go about without feeling too 'done up' as I imagine I personally would do in a pair of false lashes.

The eye on the left has the Magnifibres applied.  It makes my usually straight lashes appear a lot more curly and therefore fuller.

FYI I have used exactly the same amount of mascara on both eyes I have simply added the Magnifibres to the eye on the left.

 Night Time Look

This time I have gone to town on the Magnifibres! Adding the same amount of layers of mascara to each eye as before.....the eye on the left has the added boost of Magnifibres! It's a lot fuller and more defined.  I am clearly not the best at applying mascara so I imagine if you are a mascara expert your eyes would look flawless! I'm happy with the results or myself, it's the best I'm ever going to get my eyes to look!

What do you think of Magnifibres? Will you be trying these out? Do let me know!
