Liebster Award!

I've seen the Liebster award floating around the blogosphere before so I was very pleased to be nominated by the lovely Donna over at Polkadot Pink.

So here are 11 facts about little old me...

1. I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter who is my world.
2. I think Katie Price is a brilliant business woman. If not a little ridiculous.
3. I find cotton wool repulsive. Even thinking about it makes my teeth itch. Ergh.
4. When walking to work for example I will take the same route exactly the same way every single time, including replicating the exact point I cross every road. I pretty much do this for every walking route. If I am forced to take a different path I get very agitated.  
5. My favourite smell is fresh laundry.
6. I can sleep through anything. Including smoke alarms, scary. 
7. It has always been a dream of mine to learn how to play the drums.  A happy outcome would be that me and my boyfriend could replicate the end scene of Stepbrothers.  
8. I used to dye my hair black/dark brown and only realised how terrible it looked at the beginning of 2012. 
9. I let the dogs out.
10. I want to go to Paris. As boring and as 'done' as it may seem,I have never been.  I want to emulate Ann Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada, so, so bad. 
11. I am exasperated by people who don't understand sarcasm. It is what I live by!

1. Do you drink Whiskey? If so, how do you take it?

Hell. Yeah. Jack Daniels is my drink of choice everytime. Plus Penderyn whiskey is probably the best thing since sliced bread.

2. Capital letters. Important or not?

Well yes! Of course! Apart from when texting/messaging. If they don't happen automatically, I don't sweat it! Also it bugs the hell out of me when people type in capitals when not inferring that they are raising their voice. Why do they do this?

 

3. Which celebrity would you most like to meet? Dead or alive?

Katy Perry. End of. I'd probably embarrass myself monumentally and do a dance routine.  

4. Do you enjoy your job? Why? Or, why not?

Yes I do! Although I have to say that as you never know who's reading this! Maybe I do, maybe I don't. You will probably never know the truth! 

5. What part of your body do you love the most?

I wouldn't particularly say I love any part of my body.  Although to not be totally negative, I do like my hair. If that counts.

6. What is your most embarrassing moment?

I have a few. One that has probably stuck in my head the most is when I fell onto a mans lap on the bus when in high school, pretty much head first. This is for the pure fact it was when I was in high school which is hard enough as it is but it also didn't help that it was witnessed by some of the vilest girls in my school. Great.  

  

7. What is the best beauty tip you have?

When applying concealer apply in three vertical lines one from the centre of the eye, one from the middle and one from the outer corner and pat to blend, never rub. Looks more natural.

8. Best holiday you've ever been on?
I am a bit of a holiday novice and unfortunately have not got a lot of memories to pluck from.  Although myself and my boyfriend went to a wedding near to Hay on Wye early last year. We also went to surrounding Hereford and Ludlow and we had a brilliant time.  So for our anniversary he took us back and we stayed in the most beautiful cottage ever. It was only for one night but I still cherish it. 

 

9. What is your favourite CD?

One that I listen to the most is the first Killers album. It just reminds me of Uni and friends so I like listening to it. 

10. What is your claim to fame?

I went on a date with a guy from Hollyoaks. No-one famous, I'm pretty sure he died. In Hollyoaks not in real life. Also my cousin got chatted up by David Beckham before he got famous, he phoned her up but my Uncle answered the phone......and you can probably guess the rest as my cousin is not Victoria Beckham.  

 

11. Are you part of the Ryan Gosling fan club?

No. Not at all in fact. He was ok in The Notebook but I think it was the story I liked rather than him!  Sorry Ryan.
