Here is Part Deux if you will of my River Island Style Competition entry. For some reason I forgot to mention the actual prizes and the whole reason to enter the competition in the first place! One person from each region (England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales) will win the opportunity to represent their region by styling their very own shoot for Company Magazine! You also win £100 to spend at River Island which quite frankly is bloody brilliant.
This is an evening ensemble and not one for the recent snowy weather! Which thankfully has all but gone where I am!
Dress - River Island £12.00 (sale price, originally £35.00)
Skirt - H&M £5.00 (sale price, originally £12.99)
Tights - Primark
Shoes - New Look £11.00 (sale price)
Necklace - Zara £22.99
I must admit this outfit is quite daring for me, I would probably wear it a little less sheer around the mid region! However the triangle detail on the back really only shows up when you dare to bare! This dress actually nearly gave me a heart attack when I spotted it. I wanted it when it was full price and while browsing the leftovers of the sale recently (quite literally leftovers, wild animals must have been there before me!) I saw this dress hidden amongst a wall of black 'run of the mill' dresses. I don't know what made it stand out but I grabbed it! For £12 too! Squeal. I love the back so much it really is a standout dress, surprisingly so since it's black!
Is black usually a no no for you on a night out? Or do you believe simplicity is key?
